Our organization was started because we noticed prevalent food struggles in our city, and if you live in NYC I am sure you've seen it too. My hope for this fundraiser is to give people in our community have greater access to food, and positively impact NYC's community.
NYC Food Relief is a nonprofit organization committed to providing food to veteran and homeless shelters, with the goal of helping individuals and hungry families in need. All donations will contribute to purchasing food for shelters in NYC, for these individuals and families.
With a collective effort from the people of NYC, we can make a positive and meaningful impact to our community.
What is Our End Goal?
By the end of our team's high school years, we want to use the time we have left to make a worthwhile effect on our community, and we want to reflect that in our numbers; pounds of food, money raised, and families that we have helped. Hopefully, this organization can inspire many others to start a process to help their community.
